More About Moscato Quartet

Moscato was formed in October 2023 and gave their first public appearance in December 2023 at the Severna Park (MD) Chamber of Commerce Taste and Sip event. Since then, they have been having fun expanding their repertoire and performing at chorus events.

Sue Berger was new to the area and hoping to meet friends when she joined Chesapeake Harmony Chorus in early 2013.  She tried the baritone and bass parts but now enjoys singing in the chorus and the quartet as a tenor.  Now an empty nester (except for one furry child), she sees arthritis patients by day and attempts to find time for gardening, golfing, kayaking, quilting and cooking when not (or sometimes while) singing.

Lisa Freeman was looking for new adventures when she joined the Chesapeake Harmony Chorus in early 2023. New to public singing, she found the experience fun and confidence-building, and decided (with some prompting!) to try her hand as a quartet lead. In her day job she is a psychologist in private practice. Outside the office, she is a mom to three humans and two fur babies, a fan of the outdoors, and a puzzle enthusiast.

Fran Horner is new to barbershop but has years of experience directing and singing in various choirs. She has been exploring new challenges with Chesapeake Harmony since 2023. Fran is a lawyer specializing in international taxation. She enjoys paddle boarding and sailing on the Magothy River off the Chesapeake Bay and is an avid chess player.

Marjorie Rawhouser began her Sweet Adelines career in the Des Moines Chorus in 1992, and later sang in the Greater Harrisburg Chorus.  She joined Chesapeake Harmony in 2016, singing lead and baritone before she finally found her passion as a bass.  A former Naval officer, medical device development engineer, and college administrator, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, and gardening at her home near Rehoboth Beach
