Chesapeake Harmony Chorus chapter of Sweet Adelines International is an organization of women singers who meet regularly to practice, perform, socialize, and have fun. We currently have over 20 singers of all ages from all walks of life. We come from Edgewater, Annapolis, Crownsville, Severna Park and the surrounding area.

Chesapeake Harmony Chorus loves to get out and sing for the community. We sing at fairs and festivals, community events, assisted living homes and more. We also deliver Singing Valentines in person and by phone. We are available to sing at your next function or event - and it's never too early to book us for December holiday parties. If you're looking for a unique musical experience to liven up your event, please check out our Hire Us section.

In addition to sharing our music with others, we are passionate about learning and educating others about the art of a capella singing in the barbershop style. Did you know this is an American artform? Vocal instruction from our Director, Tancey Bosna, is a regular part of chorus rehearsals, and a very important component of the chorus experience. Several times during the year, we will get coaching from an outside Director who will teach us additional, fabulous tricks of the trade.

CompetitionIn the Spring of every year, Chesapeake Harmony Chorus participates in the Region 19 chorus competition. Competitions are a special time for quartets and choruses from our region to come together to sing for each other, and get constructive feedback from a panel of judges. The winners of the regional competition in both quartet and chorus categories get to travel to International Competition, which is held in the Fall. The city varies, but the sound is always awesome.

Chesapeake Harmony Chorus is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, a non-profit organization of approximately 28,000 members in choruses and quartets, worldwide. This unique women's educational organization is headquartered in Tulsa, OK.
